ITM Library – Annual Report 2015

31/01/2016

2015 did not feature major changes in the library’s organization, services or collections. Yet by the end of the year we were able to licence Nature Complete: i.e. the full content – including archives – of 80 Nature Publishing Group (NPG) journals, including Nature (from 1869 onwards), 20 Nature research journals, 16 Nature review journals and 40 additional NPG journals. We also acquired BioOne Complete – a platform offering full-text access to some 200 journals focusing on ecology, parasitology, and entomology – and hundreds of e-books in the Ebsco Clinical CollectionTropMed Central Antwerp – our institutional open access repository – received a major content update and systems upgrade. Noor Goemaere succeeded Dirk Schoonbaert as the library’s ‘quality manager’.
