This page links to the integrated services of several major publishers/intermediaries giving access to extensive sets of electronic journals - while using the same interface and offering a number of value-added features. These services may incorporate thousands of journals, but the degree of functionality (e.g. access to the full-text articles) is obviously limited by the individual or institutional customer's electronic journal subscriptions. The ITG library (partially) subscribes to the following services:
The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) offers access to the full-text
electronic editions of its 11 journals. This includes the most recent issues,
and backfiles generally go back to 1995. As this site-licence is IP-based,
no usernames or passwords are needed from within ITG.

The Synergy portal offers unlimited access to the full-text editions of over
400 (and increasing) biomedical Blackwell Science journals to ITG-based users.
No username or password is required, as Synergy automatically recognizes
bona fide ITG IP-numbers.

EbscoHost Biomedical Reference Collection (corporate edition) gives
access to a vast collection of some 1000 biomedical electronic journal editions.
Limitation: often the most recent 3 to 12 months are embargoed - and thus not
available.

EbscoHost EJS
is hosted by Ebsco, one of the world's leading international subscription agents.
EbscoHost EJS currently offers access to the electronic contents pages
(on a 'browsing only' basis) of some 10,000 journals.
For a selection of about 65 journals, however, additional services
are provided to ITG library patrons:

Elsevier ScienceDirect Web Editions
offers access to the full-text electronic editions of 24 of the
Elsevier Science journals the ITG library is currently subscribing to.
Take care: this service offers access to full-text journal articles,
but is basically limited to recent volumes only (generally the last
12 months).
